The name and inspiration is taken from the female protagonist of the film Blade Runner. The color themes are extracted from one of the poster. 

At the beginning, we wanted to create a switch that sounds great on all our keyboards, which means it has to be suitable for both with foam and foamless builds. In collaboration with Designer Studio, we performed multiple rounds of prototyping and experimenting. And eventually the product meets our expectation. Let us introduce the features of our product.

Stem Material:P3X

Based on the basic characteristics of the P3 material (clacky,clean sound), a series of adjustments have been made to the material composition.

The stem's strength has been further enhanced while maintaining its smoothness, improving durability.

Regarding bottom-out punctuation design, the Rachel switch adopts a thick cylindrical spherical bottom-out structure for the first time. This ensures a clear yet softer bottom-out feel while preserving its clear confirmation.

Top Housing Material: Modified POM

Special thanks to Designer Studio, one of the most reputable switch manufacturer in China. Based on their original Retro Light switch mold, the alignment ribs of the top housing mold have been optimized to enhance fitment. This improvement meets users’ daily needs for smoothness and stability while ensuring a balanced experience between stem stability and a smooth keystroke feel.

Bottom Housing Material: PA66

The bottom housing uses PA66, same material used by the Cherry MX Switches. This  provides a solid bottom-out, balances both feel and sound, delivers excellent acoustic and tactile performance across various keyboard structures and configurations.

Spring: 18mm Gold-plated long spring, with secondary QC to ensure consistent feel.

Contact: 3°gold-plated hardened contact. It optimizes noise control while ensuring the longevity of this crucial switch component.

Factory Lubed Version: Upgraded factory lubing process with a specially formulated lubricant is provided by JWICK. Precision lubrication is applied only to friction points between different components, eliminating unwanted noise while preserving the switch's original feel to the greatest extent.
